NASCAR第11戦ダーリントンはジョーギブス・レーシング、トヨタ・カムリのカイル・ブッシュが今季3勝目を挙げた。
ブッシュは、デール・アンハートJr.ファンのさかんなヤジと、コースに投げ入れられるビール缶の洗礼を浴びながらも序盤からレースの主導権を握ったが、ポールスタートのGreg Biffleとの接触やピット作業ミスによるドライブスルーペナルティを受けた。さらには幾度かウォールをこすりながらも他を圧するスピードでレースを制した。カールエドワーズが3位、ジェフ・ゴードン.が3位で、アンハートJr.は4位となった。
これでブッシュはランキングでも2位のジェフバートンとの差を広げた。今のブッシュの勢いはしばらく続きそうだ。
