2011年ローラB11/40 (C)LOLA 拡大します
7月21日、ローラは2011年用のLMP2マシン『B11/40』のディテールを発表。
オープンボディのローラB11/40は、2011年からLMP2クラスレギュレーションで施行されるバジェットキャップに合わせて、多くのメーカーのGTクラスエンジンを搭載可能となっている。エンジンメーカーはBMW、フォード、HPD、ジャガー、ジャッド、ニッサン、トヨタが挙げられており、フォードとHPDがターボエンジン、その他のメーカーはV8自然吸気エンジンとなっている。
ローラからはオールカーボン製のシャーシとともに、高トルクに耐えうるトランスミッションや、迅速に脱着可能なリアのボディワークも供給される。
また、ローラシャーシを使用するカスタマーは、ローラ・カスタマー・サポートセンターからマシンの情報を受けることができる。必要とあれば完全なエアロマップ、ルマンシリーズやルマン24時間レースでのスペアパーツの供給や、エンジニアのサポートを受けることができる。さらにローラの7ポスト・テストリグや風洞モデルの使用も可能となる。
